Project Description

Komatsu built the Town of Flower Mound’s library originally in 1999 and expanded plus renovated their 25,000sf library. In addition to achieving the goal of library as art and architecture, the building was constructed and furnished under the client’s budget.

The new design added 16,000sf, increasing the size of children’s area, adding adult programming space, study and quiet room space, and creating a designated teen area. The remodel includes finish upgrades and utilities relocation.
